Learn about local birds and enjoy the outdoors with friends and family
In 2019, PERL partnered with W&M Libraries, the McLeod Tyler Wellness Center, and the Bird Club of W&M to create a bird scavenger hunt on and around campus.
William & Mary students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors can now pick up a free William & Mary Bird Scavenger Hunt kit from the front desk of the McLeod Tyler Wellness Center.
The kit features a custom-designed map of campus, birding site booklet, and stickers to post on the map, signifying a bird sighting.
When participants have spotted a specimen at all the local sites, they can bring their completed poster to the Wellness Center for a prize!
